Which one to pick

My take, from the plan lists and prices above:

  • Solo or just starting: Jobber Core at $29/month is half the price of Housecall Pro Basic.
  • 2 to 5 techs who live in the field: Housecall Pro Essentials. Flat-rate pricing, commissions and job costing are all in the $149 plan.
  • 2 to 5 people who want the office on autopilot: Jobber Connect, for automated quote follow-ups and automatic payments.
  • 6 to 15 people: Jobber is cheaper on list price. Housecall Pro Essentials stops at 5 users, so 6 or more means Max at $299, plus $35 per user above 8.
  • Maintenance agreements are core to the business: Housecall Pro Max lists recurring service plans. Budget $299/month.
