One publishes its prices, the other quotes per technician. Here is what each likely costs your shop, and where they actually differ.

The short answer

Housecall Pro publishes its prices: $59 to $299 a month billed annually, plus $35 a month per user above 8 on Max. ServiceTitan is quote-only. A consultant who works with ServiceTitan clients puts it around $200 to $300 per technician per month, so for most small and mid-size shops Housecall Pro costs a fraction as much. My take: ServiceTitan's case is depth for larger shops, not price.

Housecall Pro: list prices billed annually, checked October 17, 2026. ServiceTitan: my estimate from a consultant's $200-300 per tech per month, before add-ons. One Reddit commenter with 14 managed techs says they're just touching $10,000 a month in fees.

Users vs technicians

Housecall Pro prices by users included; ServiceTitan prices per technician. Ask each how office staff are counted before comparing the two side by side.

Trial and contract

  • Housecall Pro: 14-day free trial with Max features, no credit card. No long-term contract required, per its FAQ.
  • ServiceTitan: demo only. Contract terms aren't published. One Reddit commenter reported being told they'd owe a termination fee of over $50,000 after onboarding.

Which to pick

My take:

  • Up to about 15 people, residential service: Housecall Pro. Published prices, a free trial, no long contract, and service plans on Max.
  • Large shops with a call center, many techs and complex reporting needs: get a ServiceTitan quote, and hold it against the estimates above. What to ask before signing.
  • Want neither? 7 ServiceTitan alternatives and Housecall Pro alternatives, with prices where they're published.

Questions people ask

Almost certainly, for small and mid-size teams. Housecall Pro Essentials is $149/month billed annually for 5 users. ServiceTitan doesn't publish prices, but a consultant who works with ServiceTitan clients puts it around $200 to $300 per technician per month, which is roughly $1,000 to $1,500 a month for 5 techs by my estimate, before add-ons.
